Come and experience the beautiful hills of Water valley, roam through open fields and navigate your way through streams and trees. With different skill levels of trails for both the beginner and advanced and over 300 acres of land to ride, the beauty of it all will forever catch your eyes. Take guided trips into the town of Water Valley, hitching your horse up in front of the general store just as they did in the old west. We offer guided trail rides for both the beginner and advanced rider with many different challenges and wilderness to explore. See the deer graze over the property and the wild ring necked pheasants ruffle their elegantly colored feathers. With clearly marked trails and a map in hand feel free to explore the property on your own enjoying the cover of the trees and the high ridges of the valley. With an open field at the base of the property, which is free of any gopher holes allowing you to run around risk free. Stop for a break at many of the different campfire sites and brew a coffee to quench your thrist. If you are looking for a weekend experience we have many RV sites with full hook ups which you can camp at and board your horse at the barn for a full weekend or riding. Our facilities are nestled in the beautiful valley of Water Valley Alberta, where the trees grow lush green and the Canadian Mountains backdrop your view. Only 45 minutes North of Calgary. We are easy to find just west of high way 22 With over 300 acres of riding space both tame and rugged and the little Red Deer River flowing through, there is ample room to ride, roam and explore. The facility here is also a camp and conference centre where they offer a variety of different things such as kids camps, weddings, Birthdays, RV site and other special events. Two and a half hours $50.00 per person
Half day $80.00 per person (4 hours)

Cowboy Campfire Dinner & A Ride - $60.00 per person
Includes a two-hour trail ride.
Dinner around the camp fire (beans, hot dogs, peaches, coffee and cookies).
Minimum number of people 6

Group of 10 save $10 per person.

Steak Dinner & A Ride - $100.00 per person
Includes a two-hour trail ride
Steak dinner back dropping the Canadian Rockies.
Minimum number of people 4

Over Night Trip - $150.00 per person (minimum 2 people - maximum of 6 people)
Stay in our rustic trappers cabin over night and enjoy the silence of the country, listen to the peaceful sounds of nature and fly fish on the river.
Includes an hour and a half trail ride on each day.
Cowboy dinner. (Beans, hot dogs, peaches, coffee, buns and cookies)
Cowboy breakfast. (Bacon, eggs, toast and coffee)
Accommodation in out rustic trappers cabin or sleep under the stars.

Anniversary Package - $200.00 for couple
Stay in the beautiful Sherman suite provided by Rivers Edge Camp and start the day with a delicious breakfast in the privacy of your room then head out onto the trail for a guided 2-hour trail ride through the countryside.
